Power electronics is a strategic area of study and research at AAU, aiming to produce new knowledge and talents for the society internationally. The power electronic research programme at AAU-ET involves over 100 researchers (PhD students and above) coming from the globe, and is one of the strongest research programmes in the world.
Main task and responsibilities:
Aalborg University, Department of Energy Technology will actively participate in the modelling, simulation, engineering and equipment development for the LightHouse demonstrations, working on the storage and power electronics for the stabilization of weak grids and microgrids.
